Serve City Athletics to offer volleyball teams at seven suburban locations

Serve City Athletics is excited to announce that it is running middle-school and high-school girls volleyball club teams in seven suburban locations for the 2016-17 season. Serve City's practice facilities are found in Wheaton, Downers Grove, Elgin, Sycamore, Medinah, Ravenswood and West Chicago.

Tryouts take place for middle school starting Oct. 3 and for high school starting Oct. 24, with online registration available at www.servecityvolleyball.org/tryouts.

The cost to try out is $5 and must be paid online while registering for tryouts at www.servecityvolleyball.org/tryouts. Registration fees for athletes are among the most affordable in the Chicago area to match Serve City's family-friendly club mission.

Serve City's coaches will run each tryout participant through a range of skills testing to determine the best team fit for each athlete. Girls ages 10 to 14 are available for our 13- and 14-and-under teams, and girls ages 14 to 18 are eligible to play for our 15- to 18-and-under teams.

Serve City's girls volleyball club season runs from the week of Nov. 6 to April 8.
