Do the Hawthorn Hustle
The inaugural Hawthorn Hustle 5K is set for 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at Century Park North, 1401 Indianwood Drive, at the sled hill in Vernon Hills. Participants can run, jog or walk and strollers are welcome. Food vendors and a DJ will be on hand for this fundraiser for Hawthorn Elementary District 73. The fee will be discounted to those who register by Oct. 1. Visit http://pto.hawthorn73.org/ for information or to download a registration form or to volunteer.
