Crash closes part of Route 64 in St. Charles

Route 64 is closed between La Fox and Burlington roads in St. Charles early Wednesday morning due to an accident, Sigalert is reporting.
The cause of the crash and the number of injuries are unknown. Authorities were unavailable for comment when contacted.
WGN-TV is reporting the crash has resulted in multiple injuries.
Drivers are urged to avoid the crash site.
