CLC offers options for students affected by closure of ITT

Lake County students affected by the abrupt closure of ITT Technical Institute may turn to the College of Lake County to continue pursuing their career or educational goals.

"Our college is here to help any former ITT student," said Patrick Peyer, dean of enrollment services. "We will work with you to transfer as many credits as possible to CLC's degree or certificate programs."

Though the Fall Semester began roughly two weeks ago, CLC offers more than 150 late-starting courses. "Dozens of general education, transfer and career classes start in September or October and finish in mid-December," Peyer noted. "Students can choose courses offered at the Grayslake, Southlake and Lakeshore campuses as well as online. With a choice of morning, afternoon and evening sections, students can fit a CLC education into their schedule."

View a complete list of late-starting courses at www.clcillinois.edu/features/late-starting-classes. CLC offers more than 66 associate degree programs and 120 certificates, leading to immediate career entry or transfer to a four-year college or university.

For more information on how to register, visit http://www.clcillinois.edu/fall, or contact Ashley Ward, recruitment specialist, at (847) 543-2090 or award1@clcillinois.edu. Prospective students can arrange a personal campus tour and meet with financial aid staff as well as the college's Counseling, Advising and Transfer Office.
