Mundelein High board has a vacancy

Mundelein High School District 120 board member Patrick Browne has resigned, leaving a vacancy on the seven-member panel, officials confirmed this week. Browne, a trustee since 2014, stepped down Aug. 30 because he moved out of District 120. It's now up to the board to appoint someone to fill the post. The board will hold a special closed-door meeting Tuesday to review candidates. That session is set for 4:30 p.m. at the school, 1350 W. Hawley St.
