Reward offered for stolen puppy in Naperville

Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of as much as $1,000 for information that may lead to the safe recovery of a 13-week-old Pomeranian puppy stolen from a Naperville Petland and then abandoned in Aurora.

The dog, which has a microchip that registers back to Petland, was taken from the Route 59 store in Naperville around 4 p.m. Sunday.

The suspects in the theft have been identified, but the public's assistance is still needed to locate the puppy, which was last seen in the area of Root and New York streets in Aurora.
