Rivers Casino owner names new COO

CHICAGO - Rush Street Gaming, the owners of Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, announced Ron Baumann has been named the company's chief operating officer.

Baumann most recently served as regional president for Caesars Entertainment, simultaneously overseeing operations at Harrah's Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack and at Horseshoe Casino Baltimore. Previously, he was general manager of Harrah's Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack, and prior to that, he was assistant general manager at several Atlantic City properties, including Harrah's Resort, Bally's and Caesars Hotel and Casino, with responsibilities for all gaming and hospitality operations.

Baumann has held other senior positions in food and beverage, gaming and hotel operations for several leading gaming companies.

Baumann is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1984, and Villanova University, where he earned his MBA in 2005.

Baumann will be based out of Rush Street Gaming's headquarters in Chicago.
