Bring your costumed canine to the Schaumburg Park District's K-9 Dog Park, 120 Remington Road, for a Halloween event entirely for dogs (and their humans).

The annual Howl-O-Ween Poch Parade takes place Noon-2 p.m., Oct. 1. The fun includes a costume contest, dog agility course, tricks competition, pooch parade and free-play area.

"This event is a favorite of dogs and their people," said Mike Wold, Bock center manager. "You will see the dogs have a great time with the activities and everyone loves seeing the costumes."

The first 50 dogs to arrive will receive a special Halloween treat.

Cost for residents is $2 person and $5 per dog. Nonresident cost is $3 per person and $7 per dog.

All dogs must have current shots. Copies of the dog's shot records must be attached to the registration form or brought the day of the event. Dog park members must pay event fee to participate in event.
