Firefighters battle large blaze at Elgin warehouse

Officials were called to large fire at an Elgin warehouse Wednesday night.

The fire, on the 800 block of Raymond Street, was raised to a second alarm box fire after 7:30 p.m.

It was unclear if there was anyone in the building at the time of the fire or if anyone had been injured.

Firefighters were continuing their work at least 90 minutes after first being called to the scene.
