Halloween stores pop up along Randall Road

As if Labor Day wasn't enough of a sign that summer is gone, now Halloween stores are popping up along the Randall Road corridor.

So far at least two temporary Halloween stores are filling their storefronts with costumes, décor and spookiness.

Spirit Halloween in Algonquin's River Pointe Shopping Center at 215 S. Randall Road is set to open any day now for those who want to get an early jump on Halloween.

While the temporary Halloween store used to be home to Jo-Ann Fabric where you could get fabric, sequins and faux fur to make your own Halloween costume creation, it is now home to complete costumes, as well as accessories such as vampire teeth and wigs.

You'll also find a Spirit Halloween store ready to open to the south on the Randall Road corridor in Batavia at 1980 W. Fabyan Parkway. The store, which will have all of the items you need to become Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton or any other candidate this Halloween, is next to Smashburger.

A few of the temporary Halloween stores that usually fill the Randall Road corridor haven't selected their locations yet, or will not have a spot in the area this year.

For example, Halloween City still says it is looking for locations, and will let people know where to pop in for their ready-made costumes soon.
