Join Volunteer Management Network Group Sept. 15

The McHenry County Volunteer Center invites you to join the Volunteer Management Network Group from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15.

Invest in yourself by connecting with other resourceful McHenry County Volunteer Managers. Share your experiences, skills and offer advice. Get answers to questions such as the amount of time needed for volunteer management.

Any individual managing or coordinating volunteers in a nonprofit, church school, civic organization, or special event is invited to attend. Both seasoned and new managers will benefit.

The group will meet monthly at the Volunteer Center office, 620 Dakota St. in Crystal Lake, and discuss topics of interest to the participants. You are encouraged to invite others to attend with you.

The network meetings are free with a Volunteer Center membership. The annual fee for nonmembers and out-of-county individuals is $30.
