District 54 students to perform at Septemberfest

Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54 will highlight its fine arts program during the annual Schaumburg Septemberfest over Labor Day weekend.

District 54 student musicians will perform on the Daily Herald Stage Saturday through Monday.

On Saturday, Sept. 3, the Eisenhower, Keller and Mead Eighth-Grade Orchestra will perform at 2:30 p.m., the Keller Eighth-Grade Band at 3:15 p.m. and the Addams Eighth-Grade Band at 4 p.m.

On Sunday, Sept. 4, the Mead Eighth-Grade Band performs at 1 p.m., the Frost Eighth-Grade Band at 1:45 p.m., the Eisenhower and Lincoln Prairie Eighth-Grade Bands at 2:30 p.m., and the Addams, Frost and Lincoln Prairie Eighth-Grade Orchestras at 3:15 p.m.

Dooley School's Early Instrumental Music Orchestra will perform at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5. At 10 a.m. the same day, both the District 54 school board and Special Olympics team will participate in the Septemberfest Parade on Summit Drive.
