BACOG thanks outgoing treasurer for service

The Barrington Area Council of Governments honored their outgoing treasurer, Carol Rolfs, who is leaving the organization after four years of service at the volunteer position.

BACOG Chairman Albert Pino, North Barrington's village president, commended Rolfs for donating her time and abilities managing the organization's finances and contributing to their budget and audit. Rolfs was presented with a plaque at the meeting of the BACOG Executive Board last week.

Rolf's role will be filled by Bonnie McLeod, a licensed public accountant who recently retired as director of finance for the Lake County Forest Preserve District.
