Amateur Radio Course Available at Schaumburg Library

Amateur radio enthusiasts interested in getting licensed are invited to attend the Amateur Radio Training Workshop from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Saturdays, Sept. 17 through Nov. 5 at the Hoffman Estates Branch Library, 1550 Hassell Road. Registration is required for this free course. To register, call (847) 923-3347 or visit the Information Desk at either the Schaumburg or Hoffman Estates library locations.

Radio Hams Jarek Stopczk and Leo Ribordy will present this hands-on, eight-week course providing theoretical and practical knowledge required to sit for the Technician (entry level) FCC Amateur Radio License. Knowledge of Morse code is not required.
