Took this picture on Sunday night as the sun set over the Tennessee River south of Knoxville, TN. Russ Jones of Oak Brook
I took these pictures at Rock Springs Nature Center in Decatur, IL. They have many hummingbird feeders at this center and it is fascinating to watch how these tiny birds interact with each other. They are fierce defenders of their territory as you hear their high pitched sounds as they fuss at each other to get to their feeder. I was able to freeze the action of their powerful wings to get these shots. Nancy Havener of Naperville
It is almost the end of the summer flowers, so I was happy to catch this Cabbage White Butterfly enjoying a sweet snack. I like the colors, and the simplicity of this photo. Robin Green of Warrenville
This photo was taken looking up at part of the new U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. With so much reflective glass in the building, you could turn this picture in any direction and it would still look right. Robert Warren of Elgin
