GOP breakfast focuses on state House races

The Schaumburg Township Republican Organization will hold its monthly breakfast meeting, with the topic "Breaking Madigan's Supermajority," at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at Chandler's Chophouse, 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Guest speakers will be Illinois Republican Party Chairman Tim Schneider, along with Jillian Bernas, who's challenging Democratic incumbent state Rep. Michelle Mussman for the 56th House District seat, and Katy Dolan Baumer, who's challenging Democratic incumbent state Rep. Fred Crespo in the 44th District.

A $13 contribution is sought from members and an $18 contribution from nonmembers is sought.
