Mundelein High to host forum on school's schedule

Mundelein High School will hold a public forum Wednesday, Aug. 31, to discuss plans to eliminate the school's unique block schedule. The session is set for 6 p.m. in the cafeteria and is the second of its kind on the subject. Officials are considering doing away with the four-class day and adopting a traditional eight-period day or an amalgam of the two schedules. Mundelein is the only high school in Lake County with a block schedule.
