Powerful Tools for Caregivers Provides Information, Resources and Support

The Barrington Council on Aging will host its popular "Powerful Tools for Caregivers" series beginning in September.

"Caring for a parent, spouse or friend can be an emotionally difficult experience that leaves a care partner stressed and frustrated," said Joyce Palmquist, executive director of BACOA. "Powerful Tools for Caregivers gives care partners the information and the means to reduce stress, better communicate feelings and balance their life - all of which can enhance their ability to make difficult decisions."

The program is offered Tuesdays, September 20-October 25 from 6-8:30 p.m. or Wednesdays, September 28-November 2 from 1-3:30 p.m. Location is to be determined but will be in the Barrington area. Cost is $35.

To register, call BACOA at 847-381-5030.
