Learn more about 'Social Security, Medicare and Me' Sept. 1

Social Security and Medicare are separate programs; however both are designed to help retirees deal with the challenges of their senior years. Learn how to enroll, what's covered, how claims are processed, and more at the St. Charles Public Library's program "Social Security, Medicare and Me" at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, in the library's Huntley Meeting Room, 1 S. Sixth Ave.

This program, presented by Dee Mozockie from Insurance Benefit Services Inc., will discuss the changes to Social Security and Medicare Parts A, B, C and D.

For 2017 Medicare coverage, open enrollment is in the fall, from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7.

During this annual enrollment period, changes can be made to various aspects of your coverage.

Dee Mozockie is a Medicare Senior Specialist at Insurance Benefit Services in Glen Ellyn. Mozockie is certified with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, HIPPA Certified, COBRA certified, America's Health Insurance Plans Certified, and Long-Term Care Certified.
