One injured in Sunday night crash in Batavia
A single-vehicle crash during which a car wound up 200 feet from the roadway injured one person late Sunday in Batavia.
Gabriel Vazquez, 28, of Aurora, was charged with driving while his license is revoked, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
He was treated at Delnor Hospital for injuries and released, according to Batavia police.
The crash happened around 11:33 p.m. on Kirk Road south of Wilson Street. The car was in the woods, on its roof. It took Batavia firefighters about 20 minutes to remove Vazquez from the wreckage.
