The Bears made progress in their second preseason game, building an 11-0, first-quarter lead over the New England Patriots in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Thursday night. But former Rolling Meadows High School star Jimmy Garoppolo led the home team to 17 unanswered points in the final 3:52 of the first half to turn the tide on the Bears' quick start.
