Palatine Republicans to host pig roast fundraiser Sunday
The Palatine Township Republican Organization is hosting its annual pig roast fundraiser at 11 a.m. Sunday, at the Deer Grove East Forest Preserve in Palatine.
Elected officials and candidates will be at the picnic, including state Rep. Tom Morrison of Palatine, state Sen. Matt Murphy of Palatine, Cook County Commissioner Greg Gosling, Cook County Commissioner Dan Patlak, and Cook County GOP Chairman and Palatine Committeeman Aaron Del Mar.
A plate of roast pig, side dishes and a drink ticket is $20 for adults; children under 12 years old are free. The pig will be served at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are available at palatinerepublicans.org or at the picnic.
