Makerspace grand opening

Mundelein Elementary District 75 is inviting the community to attend its Innovation Station Makerspace grand opening from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug, 20, at 470 N. Lake St. (Route 45), Mundelein. The creative learning space will showcase a comic book's artistry, improv, leatherwork, sewing and craft projects, robotics, engineering, and LED designs. Innovation Station was created by the District 75 Educational Foundation from a former storage area at the district headquarters. The Makerspace is intended to provide students with the opportunity to create projects grounded in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).
