Walk To Remember & 5K Run For Hope 2016. Sun., Aug. 21st, at Independence Grove Forest Preserve, Libertyville, IL

Willow House is hosting its 8 th annual Walk to Remember & 5K Run for Hope. The purpose of this event is to raise needed funds to support grieving children and experience a meaningful and enjoyable opportunity to honor the memory of a loved one. Get your team together and join Chicago Bears player, Anthony Adams, Chicago Wolves mascot, Skates, and hundreds of other families, corporations and schools as they walk or run to benefit Willow House.

9/11 World Trade Center and Pentagon Survivors and families have been invited and are welcome. They were supported by Willow House following the 9/11 Attacks.

The CARA certified 5K race begins at 8:00 AM with a memorial walk following, starting at 9:00 AM. If you cannot make it to the event, you can still order a Memory Marker for the memorial walk, purchase a brand new dri-fit t-shirt, create your own fundraising page, or donate to help children and their families dealing with grief and loss.

Willow House is the only independent organization in Illinois whose sole mission and passion is to serve grieving children.

Willow House provides support services to children, teens, and families who are grieving the death of a loved one. For more than 18 years, Willow House has been the "go to " program in the greater Chicago area, called upon to help young grieving families, schools, communities, and others in crisis as they cope with death.
