Taste of the Towns returns to Lake Zurich

The Taste of the Towns hosted by the Lake Zurich Area Chamber of Commerce, returns to Lake Zurich for the 10th straight year.

This family event sponsored by Indestructo Party Rental is set for Sunday, Aug. 21, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Paulus Park, 200 South Rand Road.

Taste of the Towns features a variety of local food and beverage vendors serving samples of their menus. There will be picnic and pavilion seating available.

One sampling of food or beverage from each vendor can be tasted by purchasing a single Tasting Menu. Tasting Menus may be shared by more than one individual. Additional full servings of food and beverages may be purchased on-site.

Taste portions will be provided from local establishments, including Beelow's Steakhouse, My Flavor It! Place, On Occasion Catering & Events, Bobbers Bar & Grill, Biaggi's Restaurant Italiano, Culver's, Smokin' T's BBQ, and many more local favorites.

Live entertainment by local bands and fun family and children's activities throughout the day will add to the "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" atmosphere. Children's Activities include Paint the Car by Casten Auto Body, Sports Agility Skills Activities from Go Hardball Training Academy, Bouncy House from the YMCA, crafts and games by Primrose School of Long Grove and more.

Individual Tasting Menus are available for purchase in advance for $40. Each Tasting Menu provides a "Tasting" of food and beverage from every vendor. Only 500 Tasting Menus will be sold.
