Registration Now Open for the 16th Annual Sweet Pea Pet Parade

Foxglove Cottage and The Music Room, both long time members of the Downtown Palatine Business Association will present the 16th annual Sweet Pea Pet Parade during Palatine Street Fest which runs August 26-28.

The parade will step off at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 28 at Towne Square in downtown Palatine, located at the intersection of Slade and Greeley streets. Prizes will be awarded when the parade finishes, which ends at the Palatine Street Fest Main Stage.

All pets are welcome. Those would like to participate with their pet(s) are encouraged to dress them up, as prizes will be awarded. Prize categories include: Best Dressed (homemade costume), Best Dressed (purchased costume), Most Colorful Coat, Best Talker/Most Sociable, Most Laid Back/Relaxed and Longest Ears.

Registration is now open and can be completed online at this link: https://musicroom.wufoo.com/forms/zhhno8c0d405n1/. Participants are asked to arrive between 10:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. to pick up their personalized parade paddles.

This event is free and open to the greater Palatine community, but pre-registration is required in order to be eligible for judging and prizes. Individuals who would like to register on the day of the event must arrive by 10:45 a.m. to do so.
