McHenry County Fair gets underway in Woodstock

The 68th McHenry County Fair kicked off its five-day run Wednesday in Woodstock with the Tractor Salute to Veterans and the Queen Pageant.

One of Thursday's highlights includes a concert by The Willis Family. The Willis Family, also known as The Willis Clan, is a family band of 12 siblings that started its road to fame on "America's Got Talent" and since 2015 has starred in a reality show on TLC. They perform at 8:30 p.m. after country singer/songwriter Caroline Kole, who starts at 7:30 p.m.

New this year is a blood drive for Heartland Blood Centers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Daily admission is $8 and $5 for kids 6 to 12, veterans and people 60 and older.
