Big Timber-McLean intersection closed in Elgin due to fire
Elgin police said at about 10 p.m. the intersection of Big Timber Road and McLean Boulevard was closed in all directions because of a nearby transformer fire.
Elgin police posted a note on its Facebook page to "please avoid" the intersection and use alternate routes.
