Join a Literary Evening of Writers and Wine fundraiser Aug. 11
Celebrate the written word and support literacy at the third annual Literary Evening of Writers and Wine, held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at FoxFire Restaurant, 17 W. State St., Geneva.
The readings are courtesy of Geneva Public Library's Night Writers Workshop.
Eight published authors will read excerpts of their work which includes fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. You'll also savor wine tastings and hors d'oeuvres in this fundraising event to benefit Fox Valley Literacy Volunteers.
The readers this year are: Hallie Koontz, Rick Holinger, Eric Bodwell, Ellen Ljung, Gieda Afdal, Jenny Scott, Robert Weisz, and Kate Johnson.
Cost is $35 per person; pay at the door.
