Chicago Bulls release their NBA preseason schedule

The Bulls unveiled their 2016 preseason schedule, which keeps them close to home. The slate opens on Monday, Oct. 3, against Milwaukee at the United Center. The other home games are Oct. 8 vs. Indiana, Oct. 14 vs. defending champion Cleveland, and Oct. 17 against Charlotte. There are two road games, at Indiana on Oct. 6 and at Milwaukee on Oct. 15. The Bulls will finish with a neutral-site game against Atlanta in Omaha, Neb., on Oct. 20. That game should feature a matchup of former Creighton stars Doug McDermott and Kyle Korver. The Bulls will play just seven preseason games this year, one less than the usual eight.
