Centennial Beach 2016 Sunshine Sale and August Operating Hours

Starting August 1, the following discounted Centennial Beach memberships are available that reflect an average savings of 50% off the regular price:

• Youth or senior - $22/resident; $37/nonresident

• Adult - $28/resident; $44/nonresident

• Family - $91/resident ; $145/nonresident

• Twilight (ages 3 and up) - $19/resident; $32/nonresident

Patrons may purchase Beach memberships at the following locations:

• Centennial Beach, 500 W. Jackson Ave.

• Park District Administration Building, 320 W. Jackson Ave.

• Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, 305 W. Jackson Ave.

• 95th St. Center, 2244 W. 95th St.

Centennial Beach memberships include a 10% discount at Centennial Grill (with presentation of membership card), a coupon book to be used at local businesses and at Park District facilities and a members-only appreciation day on Friday, Aug. 19 from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

August also brings a change in operating hours, due to shortened days and the departure of Beach staff who must return to college or high school. Please note the following schedule for the remainder of the 2016 Beach season:

• Now through August 14: Regular schedule

• August 15-19; 22-26; and Aug. 29-Sept. 2: Closed during weekdays except for the Members-Only Appreciation Day

• August 20-21, Aug. 27-28, and Sept. 3-5: Weekend hours with Labor Day as final day of operations
