Let people, not insiders, make the rules

I helped collect signatures to put the Independent Map Amendment on the ballot. The Independent Map Amendment will reform redistricting and provide for a fair and impartial mapping process. Unfortunately, a handful of political insiders think they are more important than the 564,000 registered voters who signed a petition. They are suing to prevent us from having a chance to vote on this important change in the November election. I hope the Supreme Court will see past this attempt by politicians to manipulate the system and deny us our democratic rights. We deserve the chance to vote on the Independent Map Amendment this fall.
