Today's headline award
The "Golden Egg" award for glorious headline writing goes to the Daily Herald staffer who created the "pullet" headline plopped atop Jim Baumann's "Grammar Moses" column on Sunday, July 17. Baumann also deserves a Golden Egger for alerting readers to spelling boo-boos that escape spell check programs. Giggles caused by spelling oops moments are welcome in the often grim news world.
