'Blue & You' event returns in Lake Zurich July 29
Lake Zurich police and the park and recreation department will host the annual "Blue & You" event from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 29, at the police station, 200 Mohawk Trail.
A variety of law enforcement agencies will participate with displays and activities, including a K-9 demonstration by the Lake County Sheriff's Office. A DJ, face painters, inflatables, train rides, a scavenger hunt and giveaways are also among the activities. Battle House Laser Combat in Lake Barrington will have outdoor games behind the station.
"Blue & You" allows kids and residents to connect with police in a relaxed, informal setting, share information and answer questions about vehicles, equipment, programs and services available to the community.
