Hassett Express opens new HQ in Oakbrook Terrace

OAKBROOK TERRACE - Hassett Express LLC, a provider of transportation and logistics services, will host an open house Tuesday for its new headquarters at 8W100 22nd Street in Oakbrook Terrace. Mayor Tony Ragucci will lead a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m.

Hassett moved in June from Elmhurst with 45 employees to its newly renovated space of nearly 15,000 square feet. The corporate office is home to the company's logistics support, technology, customer service, financial, sales and marketing and executive teams.

"This location provides many advantages including its proximity to our operations facility near O'Hare," said CEO Michelle Halkerston. "Local amenities such as restaurants, retailers and parks are important to our team members. I believe these amenities, along with the convenient location, will also be attractive to new hires. We look forward to being an active member in the community."

The company has another office in Des Plaines.
