BACOG elects North Barrington's Pino as new board chairman

The Barrington Area Council of Governments has elected North Barrington Village President Albert R. Pino as chairman of its executive board for 2016-17.

The board also elected Lake Barrington Village President Kevin C. Richardson as vice chairman.

"I look forward to helping support the collaboration among member villages and townships in striving to protect our communities, our environment and our resources for future generations," said Pino, who replaces Barrington Hills Village President Martin McLaughlin as BACOG's chairman.

BACOG is a regional membership organization that plans for development, legislation, environmental protection and services through intergovernmental cooperation. BACOG's governmental members are Barrington, Barrington Hills, Barrington Township, Cuba Township, Lake Barrington, North Barrington, South Barrington and Tower Lakes.
