Ice cream delivery truck stolen in Arlington Heights

An ice cream truck making a delivery was stolen from an Arlington Heights gas station Monday morning.

The truck, from Bridgeview-based Joe & Ross Ice Cream, was delivering product to the BP station, 1006 W. Dundee Road, around 10:10 a.m. The driver left the truck running and went inside, and two people got in and drove off, Deputy Police Chief Andrew Whowell said.

Whowell said the only available description is the subjects are a white female and white male. The truck has not been found.
