Mexican ice-cream parlor coming to Schaumburg
Schaumburg trustees Tuesday approved a Mexican-style ice-cream parlor - La Michoacana Paleteria - to occupy a 2,500-square-foot space in the Bode Road Center, 2381 Bode Road.
The ice-cream parlor will share space with a Tortilleria, a bakery producing freshly made tortillas.
The business is expected to operate from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. A planned opening date is not yet known to village officials.
Located between an existing hair salon and San Marcos Grocery Store, La Michoacana is planned to have five tables with seating and an additional eating area with eight seats.
