Why aren't protesters focusing on more-serious issue?

I've read a lot of opinions on the recent racial tension between blacks and the police. I believe that Black Lives Matter has a valid grievance concerning a few murderous and crooked police officers. It seems that these police are responding wrongly to black-on-black crime.

I heard a black man on TMZ recently say that as long as blacks continue to kill one another in record numbers as though black lives do not matter certain police are going to perceive black criminals as brute beasts whose lives do not matter.

It's clear to me that Black Lives Matter has a passion for justice. I see that passion as justifiable. To get the public's attention they block traffic, block entrances to businesses, and interrupt political speeches. As a result the average law-abiding black and white citizens eventually begin to consider the great wickedness that those few murderous and crooked police are inflicting upon some people.

Still, I continue to be puzzled by the moderate protests that are carried out in regards to black-on-black crime. A black Dollar Store manager is shot down by black criminals while attempting to stop a robbery. An innocent bystander black female dispatcher is shot to death by black criminals. Two innocent little black girls were shot to death alongside their father by black gang members. The list seems endless.

Chicago now has a record-breaking number of blacks who have been murdered by black criminals in a six-month period - at last count 309 and counting.

Why are groups like Black Lives Matter not bringing more attention to this much-greater problem? Why are they not blocking traffic, blocking entrances to businesses, and interrupting political speeches on behalf of the many decent black citizens who are suffering and dying daily as a result of black-on-black crime?
