Teen Film Fest at Schaumburg library Aug. 10

Teens are invited to use their creativity to make short films for the Teen Film Fest at the Schaumburg Township District Library.

The deadline for entries is 11:59 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1.

Submission forms and rules can be found at teen.schaumburglibrary.org. Films will be shown during the Teen Film Fest from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, in the Program Room of Teen Place at the library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Teens should upload their original films, seven minutes or shorter, to the director's YouTube account, then email a link to studio@stdl.org. Those without a YouTube account may download their film on a flash drive and deliver it to the Teen Place Desk at the library.

Only original films created by filmmakers ages 12 to 19 will be accepted.
