This summer, journalism students from the University of Georgia and Penn State are partnering with The Associated Press to tell stories from the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro from Sept. 7-18.
We invite AP Sports customers to request content for their publications ahead of the start of the games on Sept. 7. We will let you know by mid-August if your pitch has been selected. Please send coverage requests by Aug. 6 to John Affleck, Knight Chair in Sports Journalism and Society at Penn State, at jra14@psu.edu and Vicki Michaelis, Carmical Distinguished Professor in Sports Journalism at Georgia, at vickim@uga.edu.
