Two found dead in Bensenville home

Bensenville police say there is no known threat to the community as they continue to investigate a home where two unidentified adults were found dead Wednesday morning.

Police Chief Frank Kosman said officers found the bodies while conducting a wellness check around 6 a.m. at a home on the 1300 block of West Indian Hill Drive.

While Kosman said there is no known threat, he said the investigation continues.

"With all of the high-tech forensic investigation capabilities available, it takes more time to obtain and go through everything," he said.

Kosman would not say who requested the check on the home's residents.

Officials are not releasing any information about the victims or discussing how they died.

DuPage County Coroner Richard Jorgensen said as of 6 p.m. investigators were still working on the scene.

Jorgensen said he plans to conduct a postmortem exam on the deceased today. He said he thinks he will able to release their identities after he completes the exams.
