Minority Contractors Association to host annual golf outing

On Thursday, Aug. 11, the U.S. Minority Contractors Association will hold its second annual golf outing fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Makray Memorial Golf Course, 1010 S. Northwest Hwy. in Barrington.

Cost is $200 or $800 per foursome. It includes your green fees, cart rental, breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails. They encourage scrambles of four but individual registrations are welcome and teams will be assigned.

The shotgun start is at 10 a.m.

Admission for nongolfers and networking is $60 per person which will include a dinner and cocktails. The raffle and silent auction starts at 3:45 p.m., with dinner at 4 p.m.

Numerous sponsorship opportunities are available.

The U.S. Minority Contractors Association is a nonprofit professional trade organization which provides professional, educational, technical and consulting services to both its membership and through the community at large. It serves as the advocacy agency for minority contractors and subcontractors in the suburban community while endeavoring to provide the best consulting services possible in the construction, environmental, building maintenance, architectural engineering design, hospitality training and general service industries.
