Fire damages AptarGroup facility in France

CRYSTAL LAKE - A fire caused damage to AptarGroup's facility in Annecy, France on June 25. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation and was contained to one of three production units. Aptar Annecy supplies anodized aluminum components for certain AptarGroup dispensing systems.

While repairs have started, AptarGroup will source from its network of suppliers and from its anodizing facility in Brazil. AptarGroup is insured for the damages caused by the fire, including business interruption insurance.

AptarGroup is a global supplier of dispensing solutions for the beauty, personal care, home care, prescription drug, consumer health care, injectables, food and beverage markets. AptarGroup has manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe, Asia and South America.
