Little Free Library in Mundelein

The grand opening of a Little Free Library at Washington School, 122 S. Garfield Ave., Mundelein, is set for 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 6. Though the Mundelein Elementary District 75 school libraries are closed for the summer, the new Little Free Library outside of Washington will be available and stocked year round. No library card is required and participants should follow the "bring a book, take a book" practice. Returns can be made in the box near the flagpole. The library will be stocked with gently used children's books from the Fremont Public Library and maintained by the Washington School reading specialists.
