Know where your reps stand on guns

It is a sad day for America. After the largest mass murder in U.S. history was carried out by a man who legally bought an assault rifle, the U.S. Senate could not agree on measures that would make it harder for terrorists to acquire weapons.

The following is taken from the senate.gov website.

• 53 Senators voted against a bill authorizing the Attorney General of the U.S. to deny the transfer of a firearm to a known or suspected terrorist.

• 47 Senators voted against background checks for every firearm sale.

• 47 Senators voted against probiting people on the 'no fly list' from buying a firearm."

Yes, it is very difficult to find the logic in this one.

Was one of them your senator?

Before every voter casts a ballot, he must take the time to know the votes cast by the senators they are voting for.
