Ivanhoe Congregational Church Partners with Samaritan Counseling Center

Ivanhoe Congregational Church of Mundelein has begun a partnership with Samaritan

Counseling Center to meet the need for counseling services in the community. In a

confidential setting at the church, families, couples, and individuals work with Samaritan

counselors to process grief, anxiety, depression, marital issues, and conflict in a safe place

that fosters discovery, healing, and growth.

Samaritan Counseling Center is a professional organization that integrates psychotherapy and

spirituality in their counseling, education and consulting services. They offer hope, healing

and restoration by treating the whole person - mind, body and spirit. Staff therapists are

licensed, certified and theologically informed.

Pam Bretthauer, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with adults,

couples, adolescents, and groups. She helps people who are struggling with anxiety, panic,

depression, grief, bipolar, relationship difficulties, spiritual growth, personal growth, career

issues, stress management, sleep problems, workplace conflict, divorce recovery and anger

management. Pam has more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field.

Ivanhoe Congregational Church is located at 21078 W. Highway 176 in Mundelein. Counseling

will take place in the church library. Additional offices are located in host churches across the

North Shore, and administrative offices are based in Winnetka.

Samaritan Counseling Center accepts many insurance plans, and a sliding fee scale is
