Signs are not enough

In all the papers, I have yet to see anyone mention the word "fence or barricade" regarding the alligator threat. All I see are promises to put up warning signs about the alligators. Unfortunately, the 2-year old-boy who was tragically killed wouldn't have been able to read the sign! Also, how many signs would have to be posted? One very 6 feet - what if you were in an area where a sign was not visible? The lagoon area should be protecting the wildlife as well as the tourists, and there should be laws in place just like at a zoo. No amount of money can appease the loss of a child or an animal for that matter.
