More gun charges for Aurora man
Additional felony charges have been levied against the 21-year-old Aurora man who police say shot two men Tuesday afternoon.
Single counts of aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated battery and two additional counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm were filed against Raheim D. Davis, of the 1400 block of Andover Drive, on Thursday.
Davis was previously charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated battery, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
On Wednesday, Aurora Police said Davis was involved in an argument with the two male victims, ages 17 and 21, and four other men and a woman. When some of the men exited their vehicles to confront Davis, he stepped out of his vehicle and began shooting, police said. He fled the area through back yards and was arrested on the 2800 block of Fox Hill. He had the weapon used in the shooting, police said. The victims' wounds are not thought to be life-threatening.
Davis' bond was set at $750,000 Thursday afternoon. He will be arraigned on July 18.
