Chad McQuade will lead Oak Brook District office of Northwestern Mutual - Chicago
Chad McQuade, J.D., CLU® has been named Managing Director of the Oak Brook district office of Northwestern Mutual - Chicago.
McQuade succeeds Corey McQuade who served as the Oak Brook district office's Managing Director for ten years. He has been named Managing Partner of Northwestern Mutual - Chicago, one of the country's leading network offices, which includes the Oak Brook district office and has additional locations in downtown Chicago, Northbrook and Rosemont.
"Under Corey's leadership, the Oak Brook district office has experienced unparalleled growth and is recognized among the top Northwestern Mutual network district offices," said Chad McQuade. The Oak Brook-based financial planning firm has earned the Northwestern Mutual District Network Office Achievement Award, which recognizes overall excellence in growth and development, every year since 2009. The Greater Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce presented the firm the Investing in People Award in 2013. The Northwestern Mutual Foundation awarded two Community Service Awards for exemplary volunteerism in the community to financial professionals with the firm.

A career changer who worked as a lawyer and real estate broker, McQuade joined the financial planning firm in 2007. As a financial advisor, McQuade is one of the most successful financial advisors ranking as a leader on both the regional and national levels. He credits his success to hard work and the conviction to serve clients in helping them achieve their dream of financial security.
His passion for the career led him to explore a leadership track. In 2009 he was invited to join the firm's Leadership through Education, Advancement and Development (LEAD) program. In 2010 he was named a Field Director. As a field director, he took on a role attracting, selecting, developing and retaining a team of financial representatives. Through coaching and mentoring he worked with his team members to define a career path best for them.
Under his leadership, his team became one of the most successful Northwestern Mutual units in the country, earning the Northwestern Mutual Field Director Market Development Leader.
McQuade is a six-time Forum member which places him among the top 3 percent of Northwestern Mutual financial professional across the country. He is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Roundtable and has earned the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) Quality Award for the past five years.
A graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, he received his Jurist Doctorate in 2002. He also holds a Bachelor of Science from Miami University in Ohio.
He supports the Northwestern Mutual - Chicago Childhood Cancer initiative and the American Brain Tumor Association. He is an AYSO soccer coach and mentors an inner-city youth through the Near West Little League and Chicago Hope Academy programs.
McQuade, and his wife, Erin, have three children and live in Elmhurst, Illinois.
